How Wildwood was born…
While selling fresh oyster mushroom and preserved oyster mushrooms at the Nelson farmers market, Wildwood founder Joe would often get chatting with customers about functional mushrooms.
During these enthralling conversations he found that many were having the same problems. How to make these bitter mushroom powders taste good, and where to find quality mushroom extracts. The chef in Joe found it impossible to ignore the challenge and Wildwood was born.
Crafting functional deliciousness
Concept.
Starting with the best quality ingredients was essential. Organic high potency mushrooms, fair-trade cacao and the finest punchy spices.
Testing.
From there the experimentation began. Mix. sip. Adjust. Mix. sip. Adjust. Mix. sip. Adjust. Until reaching the perfect balance of flavour and function.

Organic fairtrade Coconut sugar is used in the spiced cacao adding just enough to make all the flavours shine.
